This is not a fairy tale. It’s a raw and honest story of how I went from being a broke university student, drowning in financial pressure and uncertainty, to becoming a thriving online entrepreneur and mentor.

Chapter 1: Beginnings and Challenges in University Life
I was born in Kenya and studied Biology and Chemistry education at university. Like thousands of other students, I carried the heavy question:
“What happens after graduation?”
At first, I relied on my family’s support, but as the semesters went by, that financial help began to fade. Living as a broke student meant skipping meals, borrowing money from friends, and constantly worrying about how to stretch every coin.
Being raised by a single mother, I knew the burden wasn’t just on me. Every shilling I asked for was a sacrifice she had to make. That reality gave me sleepless nights. I didn’t just want to survive university—I wanted to thrive. But the pressure was suffocating.
Chapter 2: The Allure and Danger of Quick Online Money
Desperation makes you vulnerable. And that’s how scammers get you.
In 2021, I stumbled into what seemed like a golden ticket: online platforms promising quick and easy money. “Join today, earn tomorrow.” “Make Ksh 50,000 a week with zero effort.”
I got hooked.
I joined Alexa Corporation and other pyramid-style schemes. The advertisements were polished, the testimonies were convincing, and the “leaders” spoke with so much confidence. But soon, I realized the truth: it was a scam.
I lost money. Worse, I dragged friends into it. Friendships were broken, trust was destroyed, and shame weighed heavy on me.
That’s when I realized: if it sounds too good to be true, it probably is.
Chapter 3: Trying to Find My Voice Online
I wasn’t ready to give up.
I thought: Maybe I can build something real myself.
So I started a YouTube channel about mental health. Depression was something I understood, and I wanted to give others a safe space.
But YouTube had tough rules: I needed 1,000 subscribers and 4,000 watch hours to even start earning. I was juggling studies, assignments, and part-time hustles. Reaching those numbers felt impossible.
Eventually, I paused the channel. It hurt, but it also taught me: not every idea will work right away. Sometimes you plant seeds today that only grow later.
Chapter 4: More Scams, More Painful Lessons
I wish I could say I learned my lesson after the first scam. But the truth? I got trapped again.
This time, it was schemes about making money from WhatsApp, Instagram, and YouTube views. All they wanted was a “small” registration fee, and in return, you’d get paid for likes, comments, or views.
It was another illusion.
I paid, I waited, I hoped—and once again, the money disappeared.
At this point, I had two choices: give up completely or keep searching for something genuine. My spirit told me to keep going.
Chapter 5: Stepping Offline – The Grind of Physical Work
Bills don’t wait. Life doesn’t stop.
So I stepped away from online ventures for a while and got a job at a midline feeder company. The work was exhausting—long hours, minimal pay, and little recognition. I remember collapsing on my bed after shifts, wondering, “Is this what the rest of my life will look like?”
Eventually, health problems forced me to quit. But in a strange way, I’m thankful for that season. It showed me what I didn’t want for my future. It also reignited my hunger to find something better online.
Chapter 6: Discovering Eagle E-commerce – My Turning Point.
Then came the turning point.
In 2022, after months of watching and analyzing, I discovered Eagle E-commerce. At first, I was skeptical—after all the scams, how could I trust another online platform? But Eagle was different:

Looking back, I realized the pattern. Every failure I had came from chasing shortcuts. Every success came from mentorship and action.
